South High dominated Omaha Bryan 5-0 on Saturday in a crosstown rivalry match.
Omaha South set the tone early with a goal from senior Joel Atencio and carried a comfortable 4-0 lead into halftime. Senior Jarib Lopez added two goals, both assisted by senior Leo Ramirez, as the Packers continued to break through the Bears’ back line.
The shutout highlighted the strength of the Packers’ defense and the organization they bring into the rest of the season.
