This week’s Packer Pets are brought to you by head athletic trainer Amber Shepherd who would like to introduce her pups, all of whom were adopted from Little White Dog Rescue!
“1. Ezekiel is a shih tzu. We are unsure of his age, but think he is 11 or 12. He is so easy going and just loves to spend his days napping away. His dog tag even says ‘I only love my bed and my momma. I am sorry.’
2. Crash is a 6-year-old Parti Yorkie. This means that he is a white yorkie, which is not a normal color for a yorkie. He is named after Crash Davis in Bull Durham, because baseball is my favorite sport.
3. Sable is a 14-year-old yorkie. Sable is still so active and loves to hide in her cat hut. No cats in this house, but she loves to be tucked away in a covered bed. Sable is the head of this household and there is a reason there is only one girl 🙂
4. Kip is a 4-year-old Dachshund. He is named after a gymnastics uneven bars move, since I did gymnasts through high school. He was blind in one eye when he was surrendered to rescue and has since had to have it removed. He also has a large open soft spot that will never close. He wore a helmet as a puppy even, so he just has to be more careful.”
Stay tuned to see next week’s Packer Pet!
