The recent senior sunrise event at South High School left students with a memorable morning.
Erick Ruiz Dominguez described being able to appreciate the beautiful sunrise along with his friends as “really chill.” Although he noted that he wished the event could have lasted longer. “Maybe it could have been extended throughout first block,” he said.
Cameron Barona called the event “fun and welcoming” because it highlighted the strong sense of community as all the seniors gathered to take pictures. She enjoyed reconnecting with friends, bringing drinks to share and reflecting on how much all of her fellow seniors have grown since the beginning of their high school journey.
Melvin Lopez Tellez admitted that while waking up early was tiring, it was definitely worth it. For him, the positive atmosphere, photo sessions, enjoying drinks and the good memories he made made the early start worthwhile.
