South boys will meet up with South Sioux City Friday night

Omaha South’s varsity boys soccer defeated Lincoln Southwest 5-2 during their quarterfinals match Tuesday at Morrison Stadium. The Packers will now advance to the State semifinals vs South Sioux City to be held Friday at 7:30 p.m. at Morrison Stadium.

Yaritzel Ramirez is a junior at Omaha South High School. Ramirez is in Latino Leaders, DECA and JAG and has been in the journalism pathway since her freshman year. She has enjoyed writing articles about South High students’ passions. This year, she hopes to write about tips and advice for any obstacles that students might run into throughout the school year. She also hopes to write more about sports and start writing about clubs.
