Yuretzi Borboa is a junior at Omaha South High School. Borboa plays for the girls’ basketball team at South and is also involved in Educators Risings and journalism. Borboa started journalism her sophomore year and returned this year because she enjoys learning about the background of journalism and likes writing stories to go with the photos she takes. Borboa likes to play basketball in her free time, and this is her third year of playing basketball for South. After high school, Borboas plans to become a pediatric nurse and help kids who can’t help themselves.
