Maiya Meeker is a sophomore at Omaha South High School. Meeker plays softball for the girls’ softball team at South and is also involved in marching band and journalism. This is Meeker’s second year in journalism. Some of her favorite hobbies are watching baseball with her family and hanging out with friends. In the future, Meeker hopes to become an immigration lawyer or a real estate agent.
