Leslie Torres Alvarado is a junior who attends Omaha South High. She is in her first year of
journalism. Torres Alvarado is currently involved in NCPA, P4K and cross country. She
enjoys writing and is looking forward to covering stories around South High. In her free
time, she likes to play video games, watch movies or hang out with friends and family. Her
favorite video games are Telltale’s The Walking Dead, Persona 5 and Animal Crossing New
Horizons. She also likes playing badminton and would like to start playing for the tennis
team at South. This year, she hopes to write stories people will enjoy.
