Jacqueline Santana-Valera is a junior at Omaha South High School. This is her second year
in journalism. Santana has been in journalism since her sophomore year. While she does
not participate in any school activities or sports, she enjoys journalism because it allows
her to express her feelings deeply and truthfully. Away from school, Santana has a variety
of interests including making eternal flowers with a dahlia as her favorite, listening to
music by her favorite artist Ivan Cornejo,and watching movies like “Aftermath.” Among all
her favorite things, she likes spending time with her family the most.
