Estrella Castro is a sophomore who’s passionate about both soccer and academics. When they’re not playing for the Evolution Soccer Club, you can find them spending time with family or watching games from both Barcelona and Barcelona Femenina on the couch. A dedicated student, Castro enjoys journalism and English and plans to study law at Creighton University with the goal of becoming an immigration lawyer inspired by their family’s journey.

Castro lives by the saying their grandpa always told them, “Everything has a
solution except death,” which reminds them to live life one day at a time and keep moving forward.
