Elizabeth Hernandez is a junior at Omaha South High. She has been involved with journalism since her freshman year. As of right now, Hernandez has focused on covering sports stories such as South’s swimming and cross-country teams. Her goal is to keep improving as a journalist and expand her journalism beats. She is most proud of her cross-country story since it was her first story published in The Tooter, and it really challenged her. Hernandez plans on studying something in the medical or dental field in college.
