Destiny Hidalgo is a junior at Omaha South High School and has been taking journalism
since her sophomore year. Hidalgo was involved in Hope Squad her freshman year as well as NCPA and has now been a cheerleader for two years. What she likes about journalism is getting to know new people and getting more out of her comfort zone. Hidalgo loves spending time with her family and her dog and listens to artists like Jhene Aiko, Daniel Caesar, Frank Ocean, the Marias and SZA. She loves spending time with her friends when she can. When she’s not at school she’s either at cheer or scrolling on TikTok. Things she likes are cheerleading, music, the color blue, Wingstop and spicy chips.
