South High graduate Jaysson Valle has decided to stay a part of the Packer family.
Valle, a physical education teacher, has been associated with South High for more than a decade. Valle attended South as a student and graduated in 2018. Valle said he has enjoyed his journey and plans on continuing it in any way he can.
Since graduating, Valle became certified to teach physical education teacher and helps out teacher Eugene Felise coach baseball and other sports. “I love being here; it’s easy to manage, and I just enjoy helping out in any way I can.”
Valle stated that he enjoys his community, and it plays a major role in his involvement over the years. Why has he stayed a part of the community so long? “It’s just the area and the community; I love it. I’ve been a part of it for so long I just find it difficult to let go. I definitely won’t be doing this forever, but I love helping out and doing whatever I can to make a positive change in my society and community.”
Even though this is only his third-year teacher, Valle knows life has other plans for him. ” I plan to stay for a good bit for sure. Being able to help the next generation of my people and overall the students who want to strive to be something more” is a goal for himself, Valle said.
Motivation comes easily for Valle. He is heavily self-motivated, and not much can take his morale and overall work attitude and ethic down.
“I’m very self-motivated. I always want to do something more, you know? Wanting to be a role model for not only myself, but my siblings and students. Wanting to do better than the previous day, and overall just staying true to myself” is what Valle said keeps him motivated.
