The Eighth Annual South Omaha Classic Show Choir competition brought excitement and glamor to South last weekend as middle and high school show choirs from all across the Midwest and as far away as Texas came to shine. This year’s Classic was competitive, but Johnston High’s “Innovation” took home the Grand Champion award and impressed the judges and audience with their flashy performance. Johnston’s very good day didn’t stop there as their “Synergy” group also won the Prep Division. Meanwhile, Millard North’s “Illumination” rose to victory in the Treble Division.
