This week’s nine Packer Pets are brought to you by sophomore Ilana Appleby-Leo!
- Kaja (Kaya). She’s 18 years old and is very cuddly
- Elijah. He walked up to my sister on the first day of Passover in 2024 then we adopted him. We call him a squeaky toy because that’s the noise he makes.
- Ginger. I call him a demon potato because he is a little chubby like a potato and he can be evil like a demon. He puts you in a false sense of security with his big eyes before he attacks you.
- Lucky. He perches on every surface he can, and he looks like a gargoyle.
- Bear. We call him “fox face” and “muppet” because of his face and ears.
- Jenny. She loves to give you her paw when she’s sitting down. She also loves to make herself look small even though she’s almost five feet tall on her hind legs.
- Coraline. She was a gift for my sister on her 12th birthday. She’s a coral corn snake and is five-feet long
- Rouge. He is a Mexican Red Knee tarantula. He loves to be on the ceiling and walls of his tank
- Noir. She is a Brazilian Black tarantula. She does a happy dance after she gets fed and she loves being in her burrow. I got the tarantulas as a surprise gift from my dad for my 12th birthday. All of our animals were not bought at a pet store. They were either bought online and rehomed, from a friend or just adopted from outside.
