Although Wingstop has been around since 1994, there has been a rise in popularity recently for the restaurant. The restaurant is famous for its flavorful wings, fries and delicious ranch. The flavors for the wings include Hawaiian, garlic parmesan, lemon pepper, mild, hickory smoked BBQ, spicy Korean q, Louisiana rub, hot honey rub, original hot, Cajun, mango habanero, sweet chili glaze and atomic. Most notably the restaurant is known for its outstanding ranch that goes well with the wings and sets the restaurant apart from other wing restaurants.
My usual Wingstop order includes 10 original hot bone-in wings, fries, a lemonade and a side of ranch. Although the flavor might be too mute for some, the wings have just enough flavor for me. It still tastes good, but it doesn’t overpower your tastebuds. The ranch also goes well with both the wings and the fries making a perfect match of spicy and savory. Even if you get tired of the taste, the lemonade washes it away and provides a sour, delightful tang.
There are also other flavors which I have tried like lemon pepper and mango habanero. Personally, the lemon pepper tasted a bit too salty, but when I combined it with the ranch it tasted better. Mango habanero is one of my favorite flavors, too, because the pairing of spicy and sweet goes perfectly together giving it a strong and unique taste.
One critique I would make about the restaurant is the extreme wait time. I understand that there is a high demand for the wings, so it makes sense that it would take long for the wings to come out, but the restaurants are always small with not a lot of work space. They could fix this by making larger kitchens so more wings could be made at the same time.
The restaurant logo has an aviation theme with the name across the middle and painted in green and white colors. Restaurant locations, bags and trays are often colored green, which provides a nice aesthetic. It makes you want to buy something there because of the attractiveness of the place and items.
In conclusion, I would recommend other people go to Wingstop because it is super delicious. The vibes from the restaurant are spectacular, and it would be a fun new experience to try the food.
